I have being emotionally abused by the father of my children. It's being hell to live with it. Only thing I give thanks is that he is a wonderful father.
ReplyDeleteI saw it happen to my neighbor, her husband punched her face swollen and bruised :(
ReplyDeleteYep, I once had a neighbor pound on my door in the middle of the night with her abusive husband on her tail with a gun. Not something I like to remember. And my daughter is in the middle of a nasty divorce because of his abusive behavior. Scum!!
ReplyDeleteyes my dad used to beat my mum up but she left him thank god.
ReplyDeleteI never experienced abuse. But my mom did when I was a small child. She was lucky to leave her marriage.

My first serious boyfriend was verbally and mentally abusive. I'm sure it would have progressed to physical violence as well, but I was able to get away before it got that far. You don't see it while it is happening. For me, it started out simply with jealousy and just got worse from there. Even after I got away, he stalked me for months.
ReplyDeletei have some friend which her husband is physical abuse her, but her husband is wonderful father, so until now she still live with her husband for the shake of her child.
ReplyDeleteYes, my sister. He was verbally abusive and she finally got away from him after five years.

I have but not for long I ended it as soon as it started, unfortunately, I've had to witness close friends & family members go through it for a long time. It's hard even if you don't know the person to see it happen or just to know it happens.
ReplyDeleteMy mom was verbally, emotionally, and physically abused by my now deceased stepfather. He beat on her, cheated on her, stole from her, called her the most horrible names, constantly put her down, threatened to kill her numerous times. She stayed with him for over ten years and then he started using a lot of drugs and acting really crazy so my mom kicked him out, got a PPO against him, and filed for divorce. He overdosed two weeks later and his funeral was October 1st. The only upside is that I have a beautiful little sister from him and she is my whole world and my partner in crime lol
ReplyDeleteThankfully I have never been personally been touched by abuse. Unfortunately though as a teacher I do come across it.

Thankfully no I've never experienced abuse but I've seen and talked to people that have.
ReplyDeleteI haven't personally. But my mom and uncles have been touched by abuse by their parents (I don't have any contact with them so I can't call them my grandparents) Also my niece who was placed in a foster home is touched by abuse, first from her own home and then later also with her foster parents. So we offered her a place to stay at our own home.
ReplyDeleteafortunademente no, I have not experienced any form of abuse with my partner
ReplyDeleteThankfully no, I've never experienced abuse or see it. I just see and hear from TV and news.
